The Beaudesert Golf Clubhouse may soon boast an outdoor undercover dining area.

On behalf of the club, Franklin Constructions have applied for a development permit from Council to construct a deck on the northern side of the existing clubhouse.

The 29-hectare property owned by the Beaudesert Golf Club includes an 18-hole golf course with a long frontage to Kerry Road and the clubhouse is accessed from that road.

The application to Council argues that all facilities needed to cater to the proposed extension such as water, power and parking are already in place.

The Club’s proposal is currently under consideration by the Council’s planning department.
