A south-easterly wind has blanketed the Scenic Rim in smoke from a planned hazard reduction burn in Tamborine National Park.

Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service are conducting a hazard reduction burn within The Knoll section, north of the Tamborine Mountain Waste Transfer Station on Knoll Road.

The burn will run from Tuesday until Friday as long as the weather allows.
