An Ipswich primary school was named as a state finalist in two categories of the 2021 Queensland Showcase Awards for Excellence in Schools.

Camira State School services the areas of Camira, Springfield and Gailes and is in the running for ‘excellence in the early and primary years’ award and ‘excellence in community and parent engagement’ award. 

Principal Glenn Forbes said he was delighted to hear the announcement on Friday.
