1 min read

A rock climber has been injured in a fall from the Frog Buttress cliffs at Mt French, this afternoon.

The Queensland Ambulance Service reported that critical care paramedics were called in at 3.45pm.

A doctor also attended the injured climber, who was reported to have a broken leg and suspected shoulder and back injuries.

The Rescue 500 helicopter landed nearby however due to the windy conditions and fading light, rescue personnel decided to carry the injured man out on a stretcher.

But with his injuries strapped and treated, the injured man was able to walk out.

He has been transported to the Ipswich Hospital.
