Long serving, and now retired, nurses at the Boonah Hospital, Leanne Holzwart and her mother, Dorothy Turner joined the 125th anniversary celebrations in the hospital grounds on Saturday afternoon. Leanne was 15 years old when she signed on for her first shift in 1973 and Dorothy began her first shift 76 years ago. They, like many others, shared stories about their time on staff or as a volunteer or as a patient.
