THE DREAM of building a world-leading planetarium on Tamborine Mountain has been rocked after a major investor launched legal action against the community project last week.

Yukiko Nozaki and her husband Steven Quilkey invested $310,000 to buy the land on which the Southern Hemisphere’s only full-dome planetarium would begin construction in January.

That figure was more than one third of the total property value.

But on Friday, the couple took the Tamborine Mountain Universe Property Tru
