ANOTHER rural residential subdivision is planned for Peak Crossing.
Last week, a town planning firm lodged documents on behalf of the landowner, Gary Shipperley, to subdivide seven, one-acre (4,000sqm) allotments from a 17.4 hectare block with frontage to Hall Street and Shipperley Lane.
The land is currently vacant.
Plans submitted with the application showed that the seven new allotments would have direct access from either Hall Street or Shipperley Lane.
More than 14 hectares would form the eighth allotment which could potentially be further subdivided.
Peak Crossing township is not sewered therefore while all other services would be available to the new allotments, future landowners would have to install on site effluent treatment and disposal.
