The smoke haze today comes from a hazard reduction burn in Tamborine National Park.     

The burn began this morning and is expected to continue until the end of the week.     

Another hazard reduction burn was initiated this afternoon by the Mt Alford Rural Fire Brigade on private property in the Coochin district.     

It’s anticipated that the burn till be completed by tonight.
