Motorists are asked to avoid the roads leading to the intersection of Boonah Rathdowney Road and Carney’s Creek Road at Coochin following an accident involving a water tanker.

Emergency services are working to free a man from beneath the water tanker which is lying on its side.

Police report that the man is conscious and breathing.

A medical rescue helicopter is on its way to the scene.
