A murder investigation is underway after a man’s body was found with fatal head injuries at a home in Tolima Drive on Tamborine Mountain on Thursday afternoon.

Emergency services were called when it was reported that a man, 37, had been found injured and unconscious around midday at the address.

The man was found to have suffered fatal head and upper body injuries.

The property was declared a crime scene and investigations are underway into the death.

Anyone with any information, CCTV or dashcam footage in the vicinity of Tolima Drive, from as early as Wednesday, June 28, to contact police.
