Drive to conditions in wet weather
While it has been a welcome relief to receive some rainfall in the Fassifern, it is a timely reminder for drivers to be careful when driving in weather and hazardous weather conditions.
The roads become slippery and stopping distances increase.
Please ensure you drive to the conditions and leave an appropriate safe stopping distance between you and the vehicle in front.
Please also remember to check the condition of your tyres - correctly inflated tyres with adequate tread will help when stopping on wet roads.
If your tyres are in poor condition you may not be able to avoid a collision. If you are unsure of your tyre quality, please have them checked by a professional.
