Walking trails in the Main Range, Moogerah Peaks and Mt Barney national parks will re-open on Saturday.
And those keen to get out and about during the long weekend can take advantage of the easing of Covid-19 restrictions in any of these parks if they live within 50km of the park they’d like to visit.
But there’s a caveat on your visit - any camping grounds, barbeque areas, swimming holes and most recreational areas remain in these parks will remain closed.
The exception is the Queen Mary Falls and The Crest day use areas which will be open.
However, wherever you walk or picnic, social distancing rules still apply.
