Man fighting for life following a three-way crash in Warwick

A man is fighting for his life and a woman is seriously injured following a three-way crash in Warwick.

A rescue helicopter flew to the scene on Monday afternoon after the crash occurred on Wood Street and Myall Avenue at 3.54pm.

A third man involved in the crash appeared to have no significant injuries, a Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said.

The spokeswoman said the injured man was in a critical condition, while the woman had significant arm injuries.

At about 4.45pm, a Queensland Police spokesman said there was heavy traffic on Guy St and Wood St as a result of the crash, but could provide no further comment.

About 15 minutes before the Warwick crash there was another serious collision at Jimboomba.

A man in his 60s suffered spinal injuries while a teenage woman appeared to escape serious injuries after a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Camp Cable Road and Edelsten Road at about 3:40pm. Both were taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in stable conditions.

Earlier in Heathwood, just after 3pm, a person was taken to Logan Hospital in a stable condition following a two-vehicle crash on Blunder Road.
