UPDATE: A helicopter has airlifted a patient to hospital following a two car smash at Coulson early this evening (Sunday).

Early reports were that there had been no serious injuries but information from police now is that at least one patient has been evacuated by helicopter.

Police and emergency vehicles are still on scene.

EARLIER: Two car prang shuts north bound lane at Coulson

A TWO car accident has resulted in closure of the north bound lane at Coulson on Ipswich Boonah Road.

Police said the accident happened around 6.25pm (Sunday, February 25).

As of 7pm, police were still on scene.

It is understood no one was seriously injured, Queensland Ambulance Service has transported patients to hospital in a stable condition.
