BOONAH-Rathdowney Road in Coochin is still closed to traffic following a single vehicle crash at 8.10am this morning.
Police said a female motorist lost control of her car, veered off the road and into a dry creek bed.
Multiple emergency response teams were still working to extract her when the Guardian spoke to a police spokesperson.
They said Rescue 500, air ambulance response, had been dispatched to pick her up and take her to hospital.
