Lance McCallum has held on to his seat with a comfortable lead with nearly 69 percent of the vote counted.
Mr McCallum has made a huge leap in his first preference votes since the Bundamba by-election where he garnered 42 percent of the vote.
At the end of vote counting on Saturday night Labor had 56.91 percent of the vote.
Sharon Bell has seen the largest drop for One Nation candidates across the Ipswich seats, from 27.74 percent of the vote in the March by-election to 15.10 percent in the Saturday poll.
Labor’s nearest competitor is the LNP’s Rob Shearman who has lost more than a percentage point to garner 14 percent of the vote.
