FIVE years ago, a developer gained approval from the Scenic Rim Regional Council to subdivide a 50 hectare grazing paddock at Gleneagle into 310 residential allotments.
Baycrown Pty Ltd has now completed stage 4 of The Outlook subdivision involving 42 allotments.
Town planners have been engaged by Baycrown to seek approval from Council for the ‘sealing of the plans’ for the latest stage of the 10 stage subdivision which runs adjacent to the Mt Lindesay Highway.
And the application notes that it is anticipated that Council’s fee for the sealing of the plans will be $389 per allotment which equates to $16,338.
In addition, that there is an Infrastructure Agreement in place with Urban Utilities for a sewer pump station.
“Along with this Infrastructure Agreement we have a $2 million uncompleted works bond and a $175, 000 tankering performance bond in place with Urban Utilities.”
