Rain steady and soaking
1 min read

Puddles of rainwater and green grass - a welcome but unusual circumstance after the drought-dry landscapes of the Fassifern in 2019.

Concerns that heavy rain across the district could cause erosion have so far been allayed as reports indicate that the falls are steady and soaking.

And the Bureau of Meteorology is forecasting more rain on Friday and into the weekend.

A flood watch was issued early Thursday afternoon for possible localised flooding in the Warrill  and Teviot catchments but the heavier falls were, and are, expected for the more coastal areas of South East Queensland.
