Tamborine Mountain Distillery in Macdonnell Road is one of the businesses in the Gallery Walk precinct.
A TAMBORINE Mountain business was given the go-ahead this month to extend its opening time by five hours.
On November 29 last year, consultant town planners acting for the owner, Dr Shumei Hou, director of the Ozch Group Pty Ltd, applied to the Scenic Rim Regional Council to extend the operating hours of the Tamborine Mountain Distillery until 10pm, seven days a week.
The Gallery Walk business at 10 Macdonnell Road, was granted a development permit in October 2019, to open the distillery to the public from 10am to 5pm, seven days a week.
On January 7, this year, Council officers approved the extension of those hours until 10pm, every day.
