
The Warrill Creek running a ‘banker’ is not a remarkable occurrence, although it is a first for this year. What is remarkable is the time between this photograph showing the green weed growth on a dry creek bed and the next photograph showing the same creek bed full of muddy brown water and debris. These two photographs were taken by NEIL PENNELL from his vantage point on Villis Bridge on Niebling Road at Tarome. There is only a lapse of nine minutes between the ‘before’ and ‘after’ pictures.
