Hazelwood Estate: A trip down a scenic lane

A WAGYU and polo farm in the Gold Coast Hinterland has been transformed into a luxury retreat, allowing locals and visitors to enjoy a range of country experiences.

The 30 hectare Hazelwood Estate opened on September 1, and was jointly funded by the Queensland Government’s Attracting Tourism Fund and Hazelwood Lodge.

The estate is privately owned by Andrew and Claire Northcott who purchased the former Beechmont dairy farm with plans to establish a polo and wagyu beef farm.

But since then, those plans have expanded.
