New playgrounds, facelifts and upgrades to community buildings, restoration of pioneer grave stones and works at the landfill and transfer stations all figured in a raft of local projects given the tick by Queensland Local Government Minister, Stirling Hinchliffe today.
The projects will be funded through a $1.73 million Covid Works for Queensland grant.

• New playgrounds at Tiny Tots Park in Boonah and in the Tamborine Memorial Park.
• The replacing of the roof on the Tamborine Village Old School.
• The Fassifern Reserve pioneer gravesites will be restored.
• Bollards will be installed at the Fassifern Reserve road side rest area and free camping facility.
