A small dump truck has been involved in an accident on The Head Road at upper Carney’s Creek.
The driver was working as part of the crew involved in road reconstruction when the accident happened at approximately 11.00am today (Tuesday).
Boonah Police report that the vehicle went over the embankment and rolled down the slope for around 30 metres before it came to rest.
Initially, the driver was treated at the scene by Ambulance paramedics and the doctor from the Rescue 500 helicopter.
He has now been carried by stretcher up to the QAS vehicle, which will relay him to the helicopter waiting for him further down Carney’s Creek.
