
THE death of a woman found unresponsive in Boonah’s Coronation Park has been deemed as 'not suspicious'.
The 59-year-old was found in the park early on Sunday morning (August 10) and passed away in hospital the following morning.
Police were investigating the death while the area in the park where she was found was roped off by crime scene tape and was under police guard.
A report is being prepared for the Coroner.
EARLIER
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesperson said the woman was found alive but unresponsive.
“A call was registered as a collapse when a woman was found in Coronation Park around 7.15am on Sunday,” the spokesperson said.
“The patient was transported by ambulance to Boonah Hospital and from there [taken by helicopter] to Princess Alexandra Hospital where she has since died.”
Crime scene detectives taped off the area where the woman was found while they investigated.
