The director of a short film to be shot in the Scenic Rim and with ambitions to screen his work internationally is on the lookout for local actors, extras and young people looking for work experience.
Labrador-based Kenji Lee was recently awarded an $8,500 grant to shoot, produce and release his 25-minute-long film Love, Iris: Before the Sun Sets in 2022.
Mr Lee pitched his film as a love story with an element of mystery set amid the Scenic Rim's “lush rainforests, beautiful plateaus, impressive scenery, and spectacular waterfalls”.
