The completed works involved in the Beaudesert Showgrounds upgrade project was officially opened recently.

The project involved work on refurbishing the grandstand, the installation of solar lighting and an LED signboard, and expanded amenities for campers.

The upgrade was jointly funded, with the Australian Government committing $250,000 and the Beaudesert Show Society $16,475.

Show Society Secretary, Andrea McFarlane, said major priority projects had been completed.
